Hello Owl Card

Happy Tuesday crafty friends,

Today I am sharing another card I created with this month’s Stamp of The Month Set… What A Hoot. You only have through the end of the month to order this super fun set. It is only $5 with a qualifying $50 purchase from my Close To My Heart link.

Here is a look at my quick and easy card.The card is a 4.25 x 5.5 size. The base of the card is kraft cardstock. I then layered it with a white cardstock mat and then used a piece of Lagoon cardstock along with a piece of patterned paper from the Brushed paper pack.  I used my Artbooking cartridge for the pretty frame.  I created a quick and distinct border with some of the pretty purple shimmer trim.

Here is a closer look at my Owl. I used my black ink to stamp his pieces. I used the SVG cut files I created to easily cut out the pieces.  I used my journaling pen to create the “zentanglish type” pattern on his tummy. I then used my Shin Han Twin Touch Markers to color him in.  I used my Crystal Blue ink pad to stamp in his eyes and also to sponge some ink around the circle center of the die cut frame. Lastly, I added a simple little sentiment using the Chalk It Up Assortment stickers. These stickers are really cute and are a little Dimensional with a slight puffiness to them. Really cute.
