I hope your week is off to a great start. Today I am sharing a cheerful card I created featuring some Tear Drops and Dew Drops.
Here’s a look at my completed card. I started with an A2 card size base of red cardstock. I then used a piece of white cardstock and some lovely patterned paper for mats.
Next I used my electronic die cutter to create and cut out the flower shapes. I cut them in plain white cardstock and then used my Copic markers to color in the stems with Green, the flower petals with Red and the centers with yellow. The pattern is not quite the size of the various “drops” so coloring the base in with the same color that you intend to use will help cove up the imperfection. I then put the finished flowers on a cut label base of white cardstock that I embossed with one of my folders. I then mat that onto a yellow piece of cardstock. I love my layers….lol
For the final piece, I stamped a sentiment onto some white cardstock and then layered it onto a yellow cardstock banner. Easy Peasy.
Here is one last look at my completed card.
